Where We Stay?

Tsinandali Estate, Radisson Collection ***** hotel.

It's quite an exceptional gem.

Nestled in the heart of Georgia‘s picturesque Kakheti wine region, the hotel is set in the grounds of the historic Chavchavadze estate (the 19th century palace, once home to Georgian royalty), and adjoins the Tsinandali Estate, one of the cradles of Georgian wine making and where the first Georgian wine was bottled in 1814.

Guests are treated to sophisticated yet intimate accommodation options, each with contemporary Georgian designs and super-comfy kingsize beds as well as breathtaking views of local vineyards, forests and the Caucasus Mountains in the distance. The hotel boasts five different dining venues including an all-day restaurant opening onto a sunken courtyard, a Georgian restaurant with terrace and three bars. Guests can visit the Gaumarjos Wine Bar to sample locally-produced Tsinandali Estate wines as well as the sumptuous Library Bar with its full-size snooker table and cocktail menu.

Beyond eating and drinking, the hotel has two tennis courts, a revitalising spa and two swimming pools including an outdoor infinity swimming pool on the top-floor terrace looking onto the mountains.

Guests can also enjoy the 18ha park complete with bicycle trails and tree-lined alleys. Originally landscaped by English designers, it was restored to its former glory as part of the renovations and contains more than 1,600 species of plants, a 100–year-old linden tree and Japanese maples and petanque field.

Can I Come With Kids?

Little ones are most welcome. There is plenty to see and do for all ages of kids at the estate, and we'll have some fun for various age groups also on the main Wedding Day and Supra on Saturday.

Arriving earlier, staying longer

We do encourage to come and discover the rich history and beauty of Sakartvelo, especially if this is your first trip to Georgia, and if your schedules allow, to arrive earlier or leave later.

Around mid-July we'll share some Google Maps with travel tips for those who want to explore Tbilisi, Batumi, Black Sea beaches, Caucasus mountains or other amazing destinations.

Our custom transfers to Tsinandali and back from Tbilisi will offer plenty of opportunities to get to the wedding and back to your arrangements in time.

What Should I Wear?

While we are not prescriptive of dress code, we have friendly guidelines in each of the event descriptions.

Overall guidance is to follow the weather reports. Usually mid-September in Kakheti area reminds of a typical Indian Summers, warm and dry during the daytimes, mostly sunny. There may be occasional rainy days or showers. Evenings may be sometimes quite windy, and nearby mountains bring sometimes chillier breezes, so pack accordingly.

Best Airline/Route to fly from Estonia?

As lots of guests fly in from Estonia and we have got this question many times - our recommendation is AirBaltic via Riga. The shortest and most time and cost efficient is to depart 21.40 from Tallinn and land in Tbilisi 04:45. This makes total inbound flights together to roughly 6 hours. If you target to reach Tbilisi Friday Sept 13 morning, then you depart from Tallinn Thursday, Sept 12 evening.

Flying back happens with the same plane and route, AirBaltic heading to Riga and departing 05.30 from Tbilisi, being in Riga around 9.00, and then from there around 13.00 you board for the next one to Tallinn.
